The Manuscript Rescue uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website, for example which pages are visited and how people navigate through the site.

4. Diagnostic tools
The Manuscript Rescue’s diagnostic tools calculate your answers and results entirely within your browser.
- The tools do not send your individual answers to Google Analytics.
- The tools do not store your answers on The Manuscript Rescue’s WordPress server.
- The tools do not save your answers in localStorage or sessionStorage.
- If you use a tool without submitting an email form, The Manuscript Rescue receives no record of your individual answers.
If you choose to submit an email form, the information identified on that form is sent directly from your browser to MailerLite. More information is provided in our Privacy Notice.
5. GoDaddy hosting technology
The website is hosted using GoDaddy infrastructure. Technical information may be exchanged with GoDaddy systems when pages load in order to provide, operate, secure and maintain the website. This hosting telemetry is separate from The Manuscript Rescue’s use of Google Analytics.
6. Your cookie choices
When you first visit the website, you are given a clear choice about whether to allow analytics cookies.
- Accept analytics cookies – Google Analytics is activated.
- Reject analytics cookies – Google Analytics remains disabled and no non-essential analytics cookies are placed.
- Cookie Settings – you can review or change your choice at any time.
The website remembers your choice for six months. A Cookie Settings link remains available in the footer of every page, and switching analytics off deletes any analytics cookies already set.
7. Changing or deleting cookies through your browser
Most browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may affect the operation of some websites, so using the Cookie Settings control on this website is normally the simplest way to manage optional analytics cookies.
8. Advertising and remarketing
The Manuscript Rescue does not currently intentionally use Google Analytics cookies for third-party advertising or remarketing through this website.
If advertising, remarketing or additional tracking technologies are introduced in future, this Cookie Notice and the website’s cookie controls will be reviewed and updated before they are used.
